Fish tacos are tasty and filling, yet you'll feel nice and light afterward.

We used tilapia but you are welcome to use any white fish. Salmon or shrimp would be amazing as well!

Ingredients for Best Fish Taco Sauce:

For the fish taco sauce, all you need is sour cream, mayo, lime juice, garlic powder and sriracha.

1. Combine the following spices in a small dish: Sprinkle 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, 1 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper on both sides of the fish.

2. Drizzle a little olive oil over the fish and a dot of butter on top of each piece. Baked for 20-25 minutes at 375°F.

You may broil it for 3-5 minutes at the end if you want it to become a bit browned around the edges.

3. Combine all the Taco sauce ingredients: 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/3 cup Mayo, 2 Tbsp lime juice (from 1 medium lime), 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp Sriracha sauce

4. To make the tacos, toast the corn tortillas on a large dry pan or griddle over medium/high heat for a few minutes.

5. To assemble, begin with the fish, then layer on the additional ingredients, culminating with a liberal sprinkling of cotija cheese and that amazing taco sauce!
